AUTO INSURANCE
Were you in a motor vehicle accident? We have you covered.
If you are seeking care due to a recent motor vehicle accident or auto injury, then your chiropractic care and medical massage treatment are automatically covered under your auto insurance policy or that of the person who hit you. You do not need a prescription for therapeutic massage care at our clinic.
All Oregon car insurance policies have what is called PIP (personal injury protection) as part of your car insurance. This coverage applies even if you only have basic liability insurance instead of full coverage insurance and even if your car was at fault in the accident. You are also covered if you or your child were a passenger in the car.
PIP gives each person in the involved car up to 2 years of treatment and pays up to $15,000 of all necessary medical expenses related to your injuries from the car accident.
Even if you were a pedestrian or a bicyclist and you were hit by a car, your own PIP policy will cover you first. If you were a pedestrian or bicyclist and you don’t have your own car insurance, then the PIP policy of the car that hit you will cover your medical expenses.
